Windows 10 Gets official name (October 2018 update) version 1809 for Next feature update

Today at IFA 2018 conference, Microsoft announced that "the next big update for Windows will be called Windows 10 October 2018 Update version 1809". And If all goes according to plan Redstone 5 will release by 25 september 2018.

As we previously expected, Microsoft has today revealed that the next windows 10 feature update is called the Windows 10 October 2018 Update. As can be seen in the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview builds (RS5_RELEASE), the version number for this update will be Windows 10 version 1809.

Also according to a report from WindowsCentral, If all goes according to plan Windows 10 October 2018 Update version 1809 will be sign-off by and September 25 will begin shipping to users in early October.
