  • IT administrators can now utilize mobile device management (MDM) to disable the sign-in prompt on Entra-joined machines for Windows Hello for Business.
  • The Remote Desktop Session Host receives an improvement with the ability to configure its “clipboard redirection” policy to work in a single direction, either from the local computer to the remote computer or vice versa.
  • Furthermore, users in the European Economic Area will notice search highlights added to the taskbar search box, enhancing their search experience. However, this feature might not be immediately available to all users as it will roll out gradually.
  • This update also addresses some specific issues, including certain Neural Processing Units (NPUs) not appearing in Task Manager, and Notepad failing to print to certain Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) printers when using a print support app.
  • Lastly, users experiencing unstable Bluetooth connections with wireless earbuds, particularly on devices with firmware from April 2023 and later, will benefit from the stability fix included in this update.

Windows 10 KB5036892, advance OS Build 19045.4291, and introduces two new features. The first one, adds Windows Spotlight to your desktop background, which downloads and rotates images for your wallpaper. The second one is related lock screen, Microsoft will also now show more information on the Windows 10 lock screen, including weather, sports, traffic, and finance content.

This update addresses several key issues and introduces new features to enhance the Windows experience:

  • Touch Keyboard Issue Fix: Resolves the intermittent problem where the touch keyboard fails to open.
  • Windows 11 Upgrade Message: Upon sign-in, eligible users may now receive a prompt inviting them to upgrade to Windows 11.
  • New Feature for Windows Hello for Business: IT administrators can now leverage mobile device management (MDM) to disable the sign-in prompt on Entra-joined machines. By enabling the “DisablePostLogonProvisioning” policy setting, provisioning is turned off for both Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices after user sign-in.
